Warehouses Fields
Warehouses Selection By Location, By Whse (Including From … To, Excluding From … To)

Determine which storage locations will be considered in the report. Make the selection by location, or by warehouse, in which case you define the range of included or excluded warehouses.

Bin Locations

Choose this button to open the Inventory Counting Transactions Report – Bin Location Selection Criteria window, and specify the criteria for selecting bin locations for the items you want to add to the report.

This button appears only when the selected warehouses are enabled with bin locations.

Inventory Counting Transactions Parameters Fields
User

Select the checkbox and click the ellipsis button to select users from the user list.

Employee

Select the checkbox and click the ellipsis button to select employees from the employee list. The employee list contains the active employees who are not users.

Group by Fields
Items

If you select this option, all inventory counting and posting documents that are related to a certain item are grouped together, and the report lists the documents item by item.

Documents

If you select this option, the report displays the inventory counting and posting documents in sequence of document number.

Display Fields
Inventory Posting

Select to display inventory posting documents in the report.

Inventory Counting

Select to display only open or only closed inventory counting documents, or both, in the report.

Only Items Not Counted Since

Select to display only the items that have not been counted since a certain date with the selected range specified in the Items field and Warehouses field. “Not counted” in this case means “not added in inventory counting documents” regardless of whether the Counted checkbox is selected or not for an item in an inventory counting document.

Once you choose this option, all the selection criteria fields that are related to document selection are disabled. The report only displays a list of items with general item details.

Items with a Posted Variance % Greater Than

Select to display all the items that are posted with a variance percentage larger than a certain value.

The calculation of variance % is as follows:

  • Counted Qty > In-Whse Qty on Count Date: (Counted Qty − In-Whse Qty on Count Date) ÷ In Whse Qty on Count Date × 100

  • In-Whse Qty on Count Date > Counted Qty: (In-Whse Qty on Count Date − Counted Qty) ÷ In Whse Qty on Count Date × 100

Once you select this option, the Inventory Counting field and the Only Items Not Counted Since field are disabled.
