Logging On to SAP Business One from Microsoft Word 
You must establish a connection between Microsoft Word and SAP Business One before you can save Microsoft Word documents as activities in SAP Business One.
If you try to save a document as an SAP Business One activity and are not already logged on to SAP Business One, the system automatically prompts you to log on.
In Microsoft Word, choose .
The SAP Business One - Log On window appears.

If the SAP Business One - Log On window does not appear, check if you have installed the proper version of the Data Interface API (DI API) on the SAP Business One client you are using. For more information, see the SAP Business One Administrator Guide.
Enter or choose the following data:
During the initial logon, your computer saves all entries except for your password(s) automatically. For subsequent logons, the system uses your initial entries as default settings and only prompts you to enter your password(s).
Logon Fields
Select the database type and enter the server name. |
Select this option only if your Microsoft Windows user profile is the same as your database user profile. If you select this option, you do not have to enter a database user or password. |
Enter your database user. The system deactivates this field if you selected Use Trusted Connection. |
Enter your database password. The system deactivates this field if you selected Use Trusted Connection. |

Enter your password for SAP Business One. |
Choose the Log On button.
A window informs you of a successful connection.
Choose the OK button.
Connections have been established between SAP Business One and the following Microsoft Office products:
Microsoft Word
Microsoft Outlook
Microsoft Excel
You do not have to log on to SAP Business One again to use the other integration features for Microsoft Outlook or Microsoft Excel.
