Data Synchronization Default Settings: General Tab 
The data synchronization default settings on the General tab deal with the following main questions:
Which type of Microsoft Outlook item will be synchronized?
From which system (SAP Business One or Microsoft Outlook) will new data be written?
Will conflicts between data in SAP Business One and Microsoft Outlook be resolved interactively or automatically?
To display the general settings, in Microsoft Outlook, choose and select the General tab.
To save your default settings and use them for future synchronization runs, choose the Save Settings button (at the bottom of window).
Note
When you synchronize data using theSynchronize feature, you still have the chance to change the settings for that individual synchronization run.
The default settings on the General tab are organized as follows:
Select the item(s) for synchronization:
You can select any combination of these items. |
In Write Changes From, you decide where to write changes:
If you select Show Preview Window, the system displays the Synchronization Preview Window before data synchronization. Here you decide which new items you want to synchronize and interactively resolve any conflicts between the different system copies of individual items. Select Resolve Conflicts Automatically to have the systems synchronize data according to the settings you have made on the Conflicts tab in this window. |
