The data synchronization default settings on the General tab deal with the following main questions:

  • Which type of Microsoft Outlook item will be synchronized?

  • From which system (SAP Business One or Microsoft Outlook) will new data be written?

  • Will conflicts between data in SAP Business One and Microsoft Outlook be resolved interactively or automatically?

To display the general settings, in Microsoft Outlook, choose   SAP Business One   Default Settings   Synchronization   and select the General tab.

To save your default settings and use them for future synchronization runs, choose the Save Settings button (at the bottom of window).

Note Note

When you synchronize data using theSynchronize feature, you still have the chance to change the settings for that individual synchronization run.

End of the note.
