The following default settings are used with the Save E-mail as Activity and the Quick Save E-mail as Activity features.

You can display the default settings in two ways:

  • In Microsoft Outlook, choose   SAP Business One   Default Settings   Save E-mail as Activity  .

  • In an open e-mail, choose   SAP Business One   Save E-mail as Activity Default Settings  .

The default settings include the following:

Save E-mail as Activity – Default Settings Window
Create Follow-Up Activity

If you select this option, you can make selections for the following fields:

  • Activity: Select the type of follow-up activity (Phone Call, Meeting, Task or Other).

  • Follow up in: Set the time for the follow-up.

  • Reminder: Set the time when the system should automatically remind you of the follow-up.
Attachments

Select from the following options:

  • Save E-mail Message: The system saves the text of the e-mail as an attachment to the activity in SAP Business One.

  • Save E-mail Attachments: The system saves all file attachments of the original e-mail to the activity.
