Viewing and Maintaining the Data

To access this window, from the SAP Business One Main Menu, choose   Business Partners   Campaign  . By default, the window opens in Add mode. The following tabs appear:

  • Business Partners

Use this tab to view and maintain business partners or prospects imported from an external list.

  • Partners

Use this tab to view and maintain partner companies involved in the campaign.

  • Attachment

Use this tab to attach relevant files to a campaign. You can attach as many files as needed.

Note Note

You must specify an Attachments folder before you attach any file. To define the folder, choose   Administration   System Initialization   General Settings   Path  .

Generating Sales Opportunities and Leads from a Campaign

After you successfully execute a campaign, some of your prospects may show their interest in your products and company. You may want to generate sales opportunities and leads from the campaign as a record of the campaign result. To do so, proceed as follows:

  1. In the Campaign window, find the campaign you want to work with. The Business Partners tab lets you view all the targeting prospects involved in this campaign.

  2. Find the prospect with a sales opportunity. In the Sales Opportunity column, choose Choose (Choose) to open the List of Sales Opportunities window.

    Note Note

If the prospect for which you are going to generate a sales opportunity is not yet a business partner, the application automatically creates a business partner before you link or generate a sales opportunity for this prospect.

    End of the note.
  3. In the List of Sales Opportunities window, do one of the following:

    • To choose one of the existing sales opportunities, double-click the row.

The sales opportunity is linked to the campaign.

    • To create a new sales opportunity and link it to this campaign, choose New.

The Sales Opportunity window appears. In the window, specify data as required and choose Add.

For more information about adding a sales opportunity, see Adding Sales Opportunities.
