TDS amount is greater than TDS Taxable amount; this is not allowed in eTDS report. Continue?

Diagnosis

You have generated the e-TDS report for withholding tax. When withholding tax is deducted based on accumulated transactions, and the withholding tax amount entered is larger than the taxable amount, the report is not valid and does not pass the File Validation Utility (FVU) check.

Procedure

You need to manually adjust the report to have it pass the FVU check.
