G/L account segments in both companies must be equal in length
Diagnosis
You have attempted to generate a report in one of the following report windows:
Balance Sheet Comparison
Profit and Loss Statement Comparison
However, in SAP Business One, the two accounts that you have compared have been defined with segments of unequal lengths.
Procedure
Make sure that the G/L account segments are defined with equal lengths.
For each G/L account, do the following:
Choose
Administration 
Setup Financials Account Segmentation 
In the Account Segmentation - Setup window, double-click the Division row.
In the Division Segment Codes window, define a segment length that is equal in both G/L accounts you want to compare.
Repeat steps 2 and 3 for each line in the Account Segmentation - Setup window.
