Use this window to record the counting results in serial number.

To access this window, in inventory counting documents, place the cursor in the Counted Qty field or the Counter 1 Count field or the Counter 2 Count field, and do one of the following:

  • Press Ctrl and Tab.

  • Right-click and do either of the following:

    • For one inventory counter, choose Serial and Batch Selection.

    • For two inventory counters, choose Serial and Batch Selection for Counter 1 or Serial and Batch Selection for Counter 2.

    • From the Goto menu, choose as above.

Serial Number Counting Fields
Create

Choose this button to open the Serial Numbers – Setup window to create new serial numbers. For more information, see Serial Numbers - Setup Window.
Auto Select

Use this button to let SAP Business One automatically select serial numbers for you.

When you choose this button, SAP Business One automatically moves the available serial numbers of the same quantity as the counted quantity from the Available Serial Numbers section to the Counted Serial Numbers section. If the counted quantity is equal or larger than the in-warehouse quantity, SAP Business One moves all the available serial numbers to the Counted Serial Numbers section.
