Data Collection Rules 
When you use the Intrastat declaration wizard to prepare an Intrastat declaration, your data collection process is subject to rules pertaining to such issues as which business documents are data sources, how to collect specific data, how to calculate certain statistics, and so on.
Note
In the Italy localization, you can declare both service and item transactions between European countries. However, you must create item master data for each service declared and create item documents to record the transactions of the service item. In other words, a service document is never included in an Intrastat declaration.
