If you count inventory by unit of measure, use the following procedure to record counting results:

Procedure

  1. From the SAP Business One Main Menu, choose   Inventory   Inventory Transactions   Inventory Counting Transaction   Inventory Counting  .

  2. Open the inventory counting document that contains the items that you have counted.

  3. In the Inventory UoM field of a selected row, change the default value Yes to No.

  4. Choose one of the following ways to proceed:

    • Right-click the row, and choose Inventory Counting by UoM.

    • Select the row, and then from the Goto menu, choose Inventory Counting by UoM.

    The Inventory Counting by UoM window opens.

  5. In the UoM Code field, from the choose from list, choose a UoM by which you count the item.

  6. Proceed in either of the following ways:

    • For one inventory counter, enter the quantities in this UoM in the UoM Counted Qty field.

    • For two inventory counters, enter the two counters’ counted quantities in this UoM in the Counter 1 UoM Counted Qty field and the Counter 2 UoM Counted Qty field, respectively.

  7. Repeat the above two steps for the other UoMs by which you count the item.

  8. Choose the OK button.
