Message

On “Potential” tab, in “Description” column, select valid interest

Diagnosis

  1. From the SAP Business One Main Menu, you have chosen   Sales Opportunities   Sales Opportunity  .

  2. In the Sales Opportunity window, on the Potential tab, in the Interest Range area, in the Primary column, you have selected the checkbox of an interest range.

  3. You have chosen the Add button.

However, you cannot add the sales opportunity because the interest range you selected does not exist in SAP Business One. Another user may have removed it.

Procedure

Do one of the following:

  • Select a different interest range:

    1. In the Interest Range area, in the Description dropdown list, select a valid interest range.

    2. In the Primary column, select the checkbox.

    3. Choose the Add button.

  • Create a new interest range:

    To perform this procedure, you may need superuser status.

    1. In the Sales Opportunity window, on the Potential tab, in the Interest Range area, in the Description dropdown list, select Define New.

    2. In the Interest - Setup window, enter a description and sort number.

    3. Choose the Update button, and then choose the OK button.

    4. In the Sales Opportunity window, choose the Add button.
