Customer [customer code] is inactive

Diagnosis

You have tried to add a sales document, but the customer is inactive for the date you have specified in the Posting Date field. SAP Business One does not permit the creation of sales documents for inactive customers.

Procedure

  1. In the sales document, in the Customer field, choose Link Arrow (Link Arrow) to view the business partner master data record for the customer.

  2. In the Business Partner Master Data window, on the General tab, refer to the date fields and Remarks field next to the Inactive radio button.
