Connected business partner [business partner code] is of the wrong type; specify a business partner of the correct type

From the SAP Business One Main Menu, you have chosen Business Partners Business Partner Master Data .
In the Business Partner Master Data window, on the Accounting tab, on the General sub tab, in the Connected Vendor field (for customers), you have specified a customer, or in the Connected Customer field (for vendors), you have specified a vendor.
In the Business Partner Master Data window, you have chosen the Add or Update button.

Make sure that you specify a vendor in the Connected Vendor field, or that you specify a customer in the Connected Customer field.

To change the type of a business partner, follow the steps below:

From the SAP Business One Main Menu, choose Business Partners Business Partner Master Data .
In the Business Partner Master Data window, locate the business partner whose type you want to change. For more information about displaying business partners, see Displaying and Updating Business Partners.
In the dropdown list to the right of the Code field, select the correct type, and choose the Update button.
