Message

You cannot proceed; inventory level falls below defined minimum quantity

Diagnosis

In the Document Generation wizard, you have added a sales document that causes the inventory level for that item to fall below the minimum quantity defined in SAP Business One.

To perform the procedures described below, you may need to be a superuser in SAP Business One.

  • In the sales document, on the Contents tab, in the Quantity column, decrease the quantity so that it does not cause the inventory level for that item to fall below the defined minimum.

    Note Note

    You can see the defined minimum in the Minimum field on the Inventory Data tab of the Item Master Data window. To open the window, from the SAP Business One Main Menu, choose   Inventory   Item Master Data  .

  • Change the document settings in the Administration module, as follows:

    1. From the SAP Business One Main Menu, choose   Administration   System Initialization   Document Settings  .

    2. In the Document Settings window, in the area: Response to Release / Receipt of Inventory Outside Defined Range, deselect the Block Release / Receipt radio button and select one of the other radio button options.

    3. Choose the Update button, and then choose the OK button.

    4. From the SAP Business One Main Menu, choose   Sales - A/R   Document Generation Wizard  .

    5. Run the Document Generation wizard through all its steps.
