Use this window to define attributes for tax parameters relevant to Brazil and India.

To open this window:

  1. Choose   Administration   Setup   Financials   Tax   Tax Engine Configuration   Tax Parameter  .

  2. In the Tax Parameter - Setup window, select Define New in the Attribute dropdown list.

Attributes - Setup Window Fields
Data Type

Select one of the following data types from the dropdown list:

  • Amounts

  • Prices

  • Quantities

  • Percents

  • Integer

  • String

  • Measures
Attribute Code

Define a code for the attribute:

  • The first character must be ‘a...z’ or ‘A…Z’.

  • The other characters must be ‘_’ or ‘a…z’ or ‘A…Z’ or ‘1…9’.
Description

Describe the attribute.

Note Note

You cannot delete an attribute used in a tax parameter.

The system predefines the Rate attribute. Its data type is percent, and only its description is editable.
