Procedure

Proceed as follows:

  1. In the NetWeaver Business Client, select a role that allows you to perform revenue accounting tasks.

  2. Choose Start of the navigation path Contract Management Next navigation step Contract Search End of the navigation path.

  3. Use the search function to find the contracts among which you want to move performance obligations.

  4. Select the contracts and choose Perform Contract Combination.

  5. In the Work Area, select the performance obligations or operational documents that you want to move, and then choose Cut. The cut operation marks the selected items so that they can be moved when you perform a paste operation. If the selection is on an operational document, all the performance obligations that are associated with this operational document are selected.

  6. Select the contract to which you want to move the performance obligations that were selected in the previous cut operation, and choose Paste.

  7. Choose Simulate to preview the new contract-level allocation effect that would occur if you save the change.

  8. You can use the Search area to search for more contracts and add them to the Work Area and move performance obligations among them.

  9. Choose Save.
