In the NetWeaver Business Client, select a role that allows you to perform revenue accounting tasks.

Choose  Contract Management Contract Search .

Use the search function to find the contract for which you want to merge distinct performance obligations.

Select and open the contract, and switch to the hierarchical view. The performance obligations that you want to merge must be part of a bill of material (BOM) structure.

Choose any performance obligation of the BOM structure, and then choose Distinct <-> Non-Distinct. After you apply this change, the higher-level performance obligation in the BOM structure is converted into a compound performance obligation that represents an aggregate of multiple non-distinct items. All lower-level performance obligations under the higher-level performance obligation are converted into non-distinct performance obligations.
