When determining the transaction price of a revenue accounting contract, Revenue Accounting applies the pricing conditions passed from the back-end operational system. Then, Revenue Accounting aggregates all pricing conditions to determine the transaction price of the contract.

However, Revenue Accounting does not include the following condition types when calculating the transaction price of a contract:

  • Non-pricing condition types, such as costing condition types

    Each condition entry includes a Pricing/Costing attribute that indicates whether the condition is a pricing or costing condition.

  • Statistical condition types

    Each condition entry includes a Statistical attribute that indicates whether the condition a statistical or non-statistical condition.

The amounts on these condition types are not added to the transaction price and therefore are not allocated.
