Processing Revenue Accounting Items
You use transaction Process Revenue Accounting Items (FARR_RAI_PROC) to process large volumes of data in parallel.
Schedule the program run at regular intervals, at least once for each period, but not more often than is really necessary. If you schedule the program run more frequently, you increase the workload on the subsequent process, as the following example illustrates.
Example
You create the order item 4711 on January 1.
On January 2, you change the order item for the first time.
On January 3, you change the order item again.
You transfer the order items on a daily basis.
Both when you create and each time you change the order item, the sender system generates a separate revenue accounting item.
However, revenue accounting only ever processes the most current revenue accounting item.
If you carry out processing daily, revenue accounting processes all of the items generated. If you carry out processing only on January 4, the program discards the revenue accounting items generated on January 1 and 2, and only processes the most current item from January 3.
The program selects the revenue accounting items present in the system with status Processable, and transfers these to the status Processed.
Specify the required company code and start the program direct using
(Execute), or else schedule the program run.
If you choose the Job Distrib. pushbutton, you can distribute the load explicitly to server groups.
