dsi_varchar_convert_multiplier

Replication Server introduces the dsi_varchar_convert_multiplier parameter to estimate the buffer size to store the data after character set conversion from Replication Server to the replicate database.

If the Replication Server character set is different from the replicate database character set, Replication Server multiplies the size of a Replication Server character by the value of this parameter to determine the size of the corresponding character in the replicate database.

You can specify the value of the dsi_varchar_convert_multiplier parameter with the alter connection or configure replication server command. If the value of this parameter is too small, the data might be truncated and an error might occur on the replicate database. You need to restart Replication Server or the connection after configuring the parameter. Refer to the Replication Server Reference Manual for more details.
