Procedure documentationExcluding Tables and Packages

 

You need to identify the tables and packages that can be excluded from the generated archiving objects before triggering Generic CDE.

Procedure

  1. In the Customizing activity, choose Start of the navigation path SAP NetWeaver Next navigation step Application Server Next navigation step Basis Services Next navigation step Information Lifecycle Management Next navigation step Retention Warehouse Next navigation step Generic CDE Next navigation step Exclude Tables and Packages End of the navigation path.

  2. Enter the SAP System ID and Client of the legacy system to be decommissioned and the name of the table or package to be excluded.

  3. Select the package to exclude all the tables under the selected package from the generated archiving object.
