SAP NetWeaver ILM makes it possible for you to destroy data for which the retention period has expired and on which there is no legal hold.

Procedure

1. Enabling Destruction of Snapshots and Archive Files with an Unknown Expiration Date

To include snapshots and archive files with an unknown expiration date in the data destruction runs, you need specify their expiration date in the system.

2. Destroying Data from an ILM Store

If you want to destroy data in the ILM store, you use the data destruction function of SAP NetWeaver ILM.
