Table View
A table view is available in addition to a graphical view and a detail view, for editing projects. Here you can enter and edit the following project data, depending on which screen you are:
Screen | Modifiable Data |
|---|---|
Projects Templates Approvals |
|
Tasks |
|
Checklist items |
|
Note
You can display additional or customer-defined columns in the table view. For more information, see SAP Note 972339.
You cannot make any changes if you opened a snapshot.
You opened a project, template, task, or checklist item for editing.
If you want to use additional options to display the assignments of documents, objects, and notes to each project element and to navigate to the corresponding tabs in the Detail view of a project element, you have made a corresponding entry for area 0006 User Interface Settings
, setting 0040 Additional Display Options for Assignments to Project Elements
in Customizing for SAP Portfolio and Project Management under .
Along with other data, you see here how many documents, collaborations, notes, and objects are assigned to the project elements of the current project.
Note
The number refers only to the corresponding documents, collaborations, notes, and objects of the project element on a given level, and not the lower-level elements.
By clicking the number of documents, collaborations, notes, or objects, you can branch to the detail view.
If you select multiple elements in the table view and make changes to them using checkboxes, input fields or dropdown lists, the system transfers the changes to all selected elements. The system does not copy the changes to all selected elements if you have entered more than one value in one column of an input field.
