You are in the Resources view, you have chosen Resource Search and then the General tab.

Features

You can enter the following search criteria:

  • The role type you are searching for, for example, senior consultant

    In the search result, the system lists all the resources that have already carried out the duties of such a role.

    Note Note

    If you leave the field blank, the role is not used as a filter, that is, all resources are displayed.

  • The time frame required for searches: searches can be based on a selection according to organization, qualifications, or availability.

  • Maximum number of hits in the search result

    You can reduce the search time by restricting the number of hits.

  • Customer/ordering party

    You can restrict the search to resources who have already carried out work for this customer or ordering party.

  • Area/location

    You can restrict the search to resources that have the specified location or area. You define areas and locations in Customizing for Project Management, by choosing Start of the navigation path Basic Settings Next navigation step Define Areas End of the navigation pathand Define Locations and assign them to the resources by choosing Start of the navigation path Resource Management Next navigation step Business Partner Next navigation step Employee Overview End of the navigation path.
