You can deploy cFolders in one of the following system landscapes:

Add-On to SAP NetWeaver

You can install cFolders as an add-on directly to SAP NetWeaver, and integrate it via a firewall with SAP ERP as a back-end system.

Integration withSAPNetWeaver Components

You can integrate cFolders directly with the following functions in SAP NetWeaver:

SAP Enterprise Portal

You can use the business package for Projects, Portfolio Management and Design Collaboration (PPMDC) to integrate cFolders with SAP Enterprise Portal. For more information, see Business Package for SAP Portfolio and Project Management 5.0 .

Add-On to SAP ERP

You can install cFolders as an add-on onto an SAP ERP system. Note that we recommend that you use this deployment for internal collaboration only.

SAP SRM

You can integrate cFolders with the SAP Enterprise Buyer in SAP Supplier Relationship Management (SAP SRM). The integration of cFolders with SAP SRM enables you to make a purchase order using a shopping cart in an SRM system that is linked to the cFolders system. This triggers a workflow, which leads to the creation of a bid invitation, a purchase order, or a strategic contract. An external reference to the shopping cart in SAP SRM is automatically created in the cFolders collaboration from which the purchase order was made. In SAP SRM, the workflow objects that are created also contain a reference to this cFolders collaboration.
