You have made the following Customizing settings:

You have deselected the checkbox in the Final Value Indicator column to specify that the Final Value indicator is not shown on the user interface.
Metric	Costs You have assigned a key figure definition. The metric is not changeable on the user interface; it is calculated. The metrics text and unit are not changeable . Sales You have not assigned a key figure definition. Therefore, the metric can be entered manually. The metrics text and unit are changeable.

You are using the object type IPO Portfolio Initiative in Metrics Management and create the metrics group financial figures for initiative for it.

You choose an initiative in Portfolio Management for which you want to enter metrics or have them calculated.

The metrics for the group financial figures for initiative are determined from the key figures of the relevant initiative. After you have assigned the metrics costs and sales and the metrics value types planned and actual , the following table is produced:

The system determines the values for the costs metric with the metrics value types actual and planned from the assigned key figure definitions ACTUAL_COSTS and PLANNED_COSTS of the relevant initiative.

The status shows that the value of the key figure ACTUAL_COSTS for this initiative reached or exceeded the corresponding threshold value (1,000).
The trend shows that the actual costs for the initiative in question increased between the last two changes.
The status shows that the value of the key figure PLANNED_COSTS for this initiative reached or fell below the corresponding threshold value (1,300).
The trend shows that the planned costs for the initiative in question stayed the same.
You enter the values for the metric sales with the metrics value types actual and planned manually. Status and trend cannot be displayed.
