System User
Definition
A user with which you can send different types of notifications in
Collaboration Folders (cFolders)
using a default value in the e-mail sender address.
Use
The system user is used for the following types of notifications and in the following situations:
Summary e-mails: Always
Reminder notifications in status management: Always
All cFolders notifications: Only if the system has been configured accordingly
You can use the system user to send notifications if it is not possible to use a normal (personal) user as the e-mail sender and you require a higher-level (subject-related) user. It is also used in situations in which, for example, not all e-mail sender addresses are permitted due to security reasons.
