Function documentationBCV Query Statistics

 

You can use this function to monitor and analyze the execution and processing of queries.

Prerequisites

  • You have the necessary authorizations, which are granted to you in one of the following ways:

    • In the Role Maintenance (PFCG) transaction, you are assigned to the BCV Administrator (SAP_BCV_ADMIN) role.

    • On the SAP NetWeaver Portal, you are assigned to the BCV Administrator (com.sap.pct.bs_fnd.BCV_ADMIN) role.

  • You have defined a search connector and a query based on it.

  • You have initiated the execution of the query. For more information, see Processing of Queries.

Features

Query statistics provides you with the following information about the execution and processing of a query:

  • Minimum processing time

  • Maximum processing time

  • Average processing time

  • Last processing time

  • First execution date

  • Last execution date

  • Number of executions

  • Minimum number of retrieved result records

  • Maximum number of retrieved result records

  • Average number of retrieved result records

  • Number of retrieved result records from last execution

  • Minimum processing time per record

  • Maximum processing time per record

  • Average processing time per record

  • Processing time per record during last execution

You can change the display of the statistic with the SAP standard functionality, such as sort, change layout, set filter, calculate totals and subtotals or display graphics.

Activities

You can display query statistics in the following ways:

  • In the configuration center, choose Display Query Statistics.

  • In Customizing under Start of the navigation path Cross-Application Components Next navigation step Processes and Tools for Enterprise Applications Next navigation step Business Context Viewer Next navigation step Query Management Next navigation step Display Query Statistics End of the navigation path.
