Portfolio Data for Subobjects

If you have assigned the subobjects (such as decision points) of an assigned object (such as a portfolio item) to the phases of a project, you can view data from the assigned subobject by choosing the Portfolio Data tab page in the phase or task.

If you make changes to the data of the assigned subobject, these changes are only transferred once you have saved your entries

Prerequisites

To use portfolio data for a task, you have maintained hierarchical controlling for your project and have assigned your project to an accounting object (such as an internal order) in SAP ERP.

Features

For a phase, you can view the following data:

Field	Description
Decision Point Name	The name of the decision point assigned to the project phase
Decision Point Status	The current status of the assigned decision point

The forecasted, planned, and actual dates for the start, finish, and decision are transferred from the assigned decision point.

For a task, you can view the planned and actual costs, as well as the planned and actual work. The system loads this data for the task from the corresponding element of the assigned acounting object in SAP ERP via the table RPM_FIDATA.
