Prerequisites

The resource has been created as a business partner in Resource Management. For more information, see Staffing of Roles with Resources.

You are in the Resources view of the Project screen:

  • Project Start of the navigation path Role Definition Next navigation step Staffing End of the navigation path or

  • Resource Search

    You can also make resources from the search results list (see Resource Search Results) candidates. To do so, select the resource and choose Add to Candidates.

Procedure

  1. In the Candidatefield, enter the first and last name of the resource and choose Add Candidate.

    If the name you entered matches only one candidate, the system assigns the resource as a candidate straight away. If there is more than one match, the system displays the compatible resources in the search result. Select the required resource in the list.

  2. Choose Candidate.

    The resource is displayed in the Candidates group box.

  3. Create a comment, if required.

  4. Save your data.
