Status of Tasks
The following statuses exist for tasks:
Status | Meaning |
Created | The task has been created in the system (initial status). |
Released | |
In Process | The task is processed, actual data is confirmed. |
Completed | The processing of the task is completed. |
Canceled | The task is not completed successfully. If the task is canceled, the subtasks are also canceled. |
You can complete a task even if it contains subtasks that were canceled if you have selected the checkbox Complete
in Customizing for Project Management under

Integration
The following dependencies exist between the status of phases (see Status of Phases) and the status of tasks:
The release of the phase leads to the release of all the tasks. It is possible to release tasks before releasing the phase.
Locking a phase does not influence the status of the tasks. However, it is not possible to process the tasks if the phase is locked.
