Roles appear as a list in the Resources view. You can change the sequence of roles in this list to suit your needs.

Prerequisites

You are in the Resources view. You have activated and created an implementation of the BAdI DPR_RES_OVERVIEW. With the method SORT_ROLE_DROPDOWN, you can determine whether the dropdown list box for sorting roles is active or not. By default, the dropdown list box is not active.

Procedure

  1. Choose the role in the list that you want to move.

  2. Display the Sort Role drop-down list.

  3. Choose the new position for the selected role.

    You see the role list in the new order.

  4. Save your data.

Result

The selected role is moved to the new position in the role list. The other roles are moved down to accommodate the new position.
