Search
You use the search function to search for objects in the area of SAP Portfolio and Project Management, for example items, projects, documents, resources, or evaluations.
Depending on the object type, different search helps are available in the By
dropdown list. You can open the objects displayed in the Search Results
area by clicking once with your mouse.
In the resource search, you can compare the availability of a resource with the remaining demand of the chosen role. The system displays a graphical chart below the search result.
In Project Management you can use Search in Results
to narrow the search within the search results and combine search criteria from different search helps in the By
dropdown list. You can adjust the search result list by
using the BAdI BADI_DPR_SEARCH. For more information, see Customizing for SAP Portfolio and Project Management

In the area of Project Management you can add a project element that is displayed as a search result to your favorites list by choosing Add to Favorites

You enter or choose the required search criteria. The available search criteria depend on your selection in the Find
field and your selection in the Search For
field and the By
field.
If necessary, you can limit the number of search results by specifying a value in the Hits
field. A maximum of 20 hits will be displayed by default.
