Consequently, managers need all applications, services, and relevant information to be stored in a central location so that they can perform their management tasks and make the correct decisions.

This business package provides all your employees who perform management tasks at an operative level with the applications and services that they need to perform their tasks. It also gives managers centralized access to all the important data and information for their particular area of responsibility.

This business package is designed for all employees who perform management tasks at an operational level, for example:

      Line managers

Team leaders with project management tasks

      Heads of department

In particular, the business package supports managers in the following:

Tasks related to the personnel responsibility for their team

Controlling tasks within their budgeting responsibilities

      Planning tasks

      Project management tasks

Note

The project management applications in the Business Package for Manager Self-Service are intended for line managers who also perform project lead functions. They are also useful for line managers whose employees work on projects for which they, as their manager, would like an overview.

The Business Package for Project Self-Service is available for advanced project management activities. This business package provides project leaders and project employees with the most frequently used project processes as easy-to-use self-service applications.

Monitoring their area of responsibility using reports and evaluations

Within the portal infrastructure, this business package has the following advantages:
