Procedure documentation Specifying User Mapping Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

The corresponding repository manager has to provide the credentials for logging on to the remote server for all users that access the following repositories:

·        WebDAV Repository

·        Lotus Notes Repository

·        File System Repository (based on WINDOWS®)

This information is read from the mapping data of the user who is trying to access the repository. When an index is created, this is the user of the service user index_service.  When a search is taking place, it is the user that is currently logged on to the portal.

Users can maintain their own mapping data.

Note

Inform users of how they carry out their user mapping using the portal.
