Details Dialog Box
In the Details dialog box, you can access all information, settings, and functions of a folder, document, or link.
The Details dialog box has a similar structure to the Navigation iView:

A menu bar is displayed at the top of the Details dialog box.
In the standard system, the properties of the current resource are displayed in the left screen area. The standard system contains renderers that display one or more properties.

Examples of the properties in the Details dialog box:
- Date, time, and name of the user who created an object.
- Average review of an object by all users.
In the standard system, an overview is displayed in the right screen area. This overview can contain several areas such as feedback or personal notes. For each area, a JAVA class is stored in the configuration (see Overview in the Details Dialog Box). If the right screen area shows a different control, you can return to the overview by choosing Display ® Overview.
Different controls are displayed in the right screen area depending on the functions that you can call via the menu bar commands. One example of this is the Subscription Control, which is displayed when you choose Actions ® Edit Subscription. The display of controls is determined by a screenflow that is called by the command in question.
You can configure the following things:
· You can configure which group of commands is available in the menu. You can only exchange the complete group, that is, the complete menu bar, not an individual pulldown menu. Use the parameter Commands for the Details Menu (rndDetailsCommandGroup) for this. You can define this parameter in a layout set. If this parameter is not defined, the system uses the command group configured in the standard layout controller.
· You can configure which properties are displayed in the left screen area and change the sequence of properties. For example, you can specify that the rating is displayed at the very top, and that the file size is hidden. For more information, see Properties in the Details Dialog Box.
· You can configure which areas are displayed in the standard overview in the right screen area, and change the sequence of the area. For example, you can specify that the feedback is always displayed at the very top, and that the public comments are hidden. For more information, see Areas in the Standard Overview.
· You can configure separate Details dialog boxes for different types of resources. When the Details dialog box is called, the system checks the resource type of the object. If a separate Details dialog box exists for the resource type, it displays the related Details dialog box. If the system does not find a separate Details dialog box, it displays the standard Details dialog box.
