Object Authorization 

Use

This authorization specifies whether you are allowed to administer, edit, or read a specific object (for example, a document). Object authorizations can be assigned specifically to an object, inherited in the hierarchy, or defined by a status profile. For more information about object authorizations in status profiles, see Object Authorizations per Status.

Prerequisites

To assign an object (such as a document) to a status profile, you must be allowed to administer the object and read the status profile.
