Use
The data needed for the operation of the following repository managers is defined in the definition of an HTTP system.
● WebDAV Repository Manager
● Web Repository Manager
In the configuration of the following repository managers, you can use an HTTP system as a proxy system as well:
● WebDAV Repository Manager
● Web Repository Manager
● Simple Web Repository Manager

Same User Domain |

Specifies whether the portal forwards the authentication information to the remote server. Activate this parameter if the HTTP system is to operate in the same user domain as the portal. Deactivate this parameter if you want to access external systems (for example, an external Web site). |
max. Connections |

Specifies the maximum number of connections to the remote server that a repository manager builds with this HTTP system. The exact number of connections depends on the remote server. The entry 0 stands for an unrestricted number of connections. |
Activities
To define an HTTP system, choose Content Management ® Global Services ® System Landscape Definitions ® Systems ® HTTP System.
Then choose the System ID assigned in the configuration of the assigned Web Repository Manager or WebDAV Repository Manager in the System ID parameter.
If you have created a proxy system, choose the System ID assigned in the configuration of the respective repository manager in the Proxy System ID parameter.
