Actions for the Status 

Use

Actions for the status include:

·        Notifications on the due date of a deadline

·        Notifications on the process flow of a processing period

This reminder notification is sent in the background if the user responsible for processing a status object has not converted the Status of the object for the defined due deadline or for the process flow of the set processing period to the subsequent status.

Prerequisites

You have created a status profile with several statuses. You have created a deadline action or a notification for the processing period for the status.

The object that you want to process is assigned to this status profile. The object currently has the status for which a deadline action or a notification for the processing period was created.

Activities

The system sends a notification for the due date of the deadline or for the process flow of the processing period, as soon as the deadline or the processing period which you specified has elapsed. If the relevant status has been converted before the deadline is reached or before the process flow of the processing period, the system does not send a notification.

In both cases, the notification receives a text that was either generated by the system (Automatic Text Generation) or generated manually by you (Manual Text Generation), that is, for both the deadline and the processing period, you have the option of sending an automatic status action or a manual status action.
