Use

Here you get an overview of all existing items and relevant key data. You can search and select the item with which you want to work. You can also create a new item, update multiple items, or move selected items to another bucket.

Prerequisites

If you use SAP xRPM 4.0 prior to SP7, you must have run the report /RPM/SET_ITEM_ICONS to calculate the icons in this view.

Action

Steps

Create new item

Click Create New.

Mass update

Select the items from the list.

Click Mass Update to update attributes. The Mass Update (Portfolio Items) view opens.

Move to

...

       1.      Select the items from the list.

       2.      Click Move to to display a list of buckets.

       3.      Select the appropriate bucket.

       4.      Choose Done to move the item to the selected bucket.

Search for an item

Here you can sort and filter the displayed items to search for a specific Item object.

Sort

You can sort the item list by columns. Click the heading of the column to sort in ascending order. Click again to sort in descending order.

Filter

The first row is for filtering the item list. You may enter a string of characters to filter the items containing the string. You may enter search strings in multiple columns to narrow the search results. Special characters are not permitted.

Navigation

Scroll

The triangles at the bottom of the displayed list facilitate scrolling. The three triangles pointing down help scroll down one row at a time, one page at a time and to the last page, respectively.  The three triangles pointing up perform the same function for scrolling upwards.

Export to Excel

Export to Microsoft Excel (right top corner above the list)

Here you can export list of select collections to Microsoft Excel.

       1.      Select the items from the list

       2.      Click Export to Microsoft Excel to access the Export view.

       3.      Click TableData.xls.

Select Items from the List

The first column of each row has a checkbox which is used for selecting the item in that row.

·         To select a single item from a list, click on the corresponding checkbox.

·         To select multiple items, hold down the CTRL key and click the checkboxes corresponding to the items.

·         To select a block of items, hold down the SHIFT key and check the first and last item of the block.
