Creating Roles and Worksets with the Copy/Paste Function 

Use

Create roles and worksets with the copy and paste functions if you want to reuse an existing role or workset with its contents.

Prerequisites

You created roles and worksets and stored them in folders of the Portal Catalog.

Activities

...

       1.      In the Portal Catalog, right-click the role or workset you want to copy and choose Copy.

       2.      Right-click the folder to which you want to add the object.

       3.      Choose one of the following alternatives:

○     Paste as a copy. In this case choose Paste.

○     Paste as a delta link. In this case choose Paste as Delta Link.

The role or workset is pasted into the folder of the Portal Catalog as a delta link or copy.

Objects in the Portal Catalog can be either copies or delta links of other objects. For more information see Object Relationships.
