Queue Parameters 

The queue parameters control the interaction between the queue server and the index server. In particular, they specify when the queue server triggers indexing and optimization of documents. It is important for performance reasons that you have optimum settings for the queue parameters.

As far as content is concerned the queue parameters can be divided into the following groups:

·        Start Condition

·        Indexing and Optimization

·        Integrating the Delta Index

·        Index Replication

·        Repeating Processing and Tracing

·        Status Information

You can display the current parameters of a queue, and change them if necessary. In the case of most queue parameters changes take effect as soon as you save them. If changes only take effect later on, this is noted in the description of the parameter in question.
