Single Instance Only: Removing the Cluster Setting  

Use

By default, Content Management is configured to run on a SAP J2EE Engine cluster. If you intend to use one instance of CM on a single machine, you need to de-activate the cluster setting. This improves performance and prevents errors from occurring in the Component Monitor.

Procedure

       1.      In the portal, access the CM configuration settings with System Administration  ® System Configuration ® Knowledge Management ® Content Management® Global Services.

       2.      On the right, beside the heading Global Services, choose Show Advanced Options.

       3.      Choose System Landscape Service. On the right, under View ‘landscape‘, click Edit. Deselect Cluster Installation and save your entry with OK.

       4.      Restart the SAP J2EE Engine.

Content Management is now set for operation on a single machine.
