Creating a Query-Based Taxonomy 
You
create a query-based taxonomy in order to be able to classify documents on the
basis of search queries (see
Classification
(Classifying Documents).
You have two options when you create a query-based taxonomy:
· Creating a new folder hierarchy
You want to create a query-based taxonomy and corrsponding folder structure from scratch. That is, you do not want to use an existing folder hierarchy for the taxonomy.
· Using an existing folder hierarchy
You want to create a query-based taxonomy based on an existing folder hierarchy.

Create the root nodes of the folder hierarchy |
Copy an existing folder hierarchy |

Create the categories of the folder hierarchy |

Define the categories of the taxonomy using queries |

Result: A taxonomy is created. |
