Workset: Layout Examples 

Use

This workset contains examples of KM navigation iViews with different layout sets.

 

Integration

In initial content, the workset Layout Examples is integrated into the Content Manager role.

Use the Layout Examples workset only for evaluation purposes. You should remove it from the Content Manager role for productive operation.

 

Features

The workset contains the following pages and iViews of the same name: The iViews are based on the KM Navigation iView template and are distinguished from one another by the assignment of different layout sets and layout set modes in the iView properties.

·        Simple Explorer

This displays only the most important commands. It is suitable for narrow iViews.

 

·        Consumer Explorer

Explorer for end users with simply navigation.

 

·        Admin Explorer

Explorer for administrators that allows mass commands.

 

·        Columns Explorer

Depicts objects in various columns.

 

·        Grid List Explorer

The upper area displays the folders and the lower area displays the documents.

 

·        Table Explorer

Depicts objects in a table.

 

·        Tree List Preview Explorer

Allows you to click on a document in order to display it in the lower half of the screen.

 

·        Thumbnail Explorer

The upper area displays the folders and the lower area displays thumbnails of the documents. Note the document types for which thumbnails are supported.
