Scheduler Sequences 

Use

You define the sequence in which scheduler tasks are executed in a scheduler sequence. A task executed as part of a scheduler sequence only starts when the previous task has been executed and completed.

 

Integration

The scheduler service executes tasks in the sequence specified in the task sequence.

 

Features

The following parameters are available for the definition of a scheduler sequence:

Parameters of a Scheduler Sequence

Parameters	Required	Description
Sequence Name	Yes	Name of scheduler sequence.
Scheduler Tasks	Yes	Scheduler tasks used in the sequence. Use the pushbuttons Add and Remove to construct a sequence. Use the pushbuttons Top, Up, Down, and Bottom to define the sequence of the scheduler tasks within the sequence.

 

Activities

No scheduler sequences are contained in the standard delivery. You can create new scheduler sequences if you have implemented your own scheduler tasks that need to be executed in a certain order.

To create a scheduler sequence, choose Content Management ® Global Services ® Scheduler Sequences.
