Use

This service allows you to group together predefined properties in an ordered fashion and insert the groups into structures. For more information, see Property Structures.

 

Features

You can specify a bundle file that contains labels and values for multiple property structures in the configuration of the property structure service.

Sources and Priorities of Labels and Values

Labels and values of property structures and property groups can come from different system sources with differing priorities.

The labels and values are contained in the bundle file specified in the definition of the property group (see Property Structures).

We recommend that you maintain this file.

The labels and values are contained in the bundle file specified in the configuration of the property structure service.

The labels and values are contained in the system-internal bundle file of the service implementation.

You should not modify the default specifications.

The labels and values come from the group specified in the parameter Property Metadata Group in a property group (see Property Structures).

The name of the property group is used instead of a label.

5 (lowest)

Only permits single language labels.

 

Activities

The property structure service is already activated in the standard delivery and does not need to be further configured.

To call up the configuration for the service, choose Content Management ® Global Services ® Property Structure Service.
