Three options are available to record, view, and update additional information about the item.

·         Online Documentation

Use the Display Metadata button to toggle between viewing Online documentation and Portfolio Metadata.

·         Documents

Click on the Create Document button to use a text editor and create a new document.

·         Technical Info: Displays General information on this report including variable values, filter values, conditions and exceptions.

Advanced Analysis

Here, are 4 more options for further analysis and collaboration.

·         Data Analysis

Includes comprehensive information such as the Expected Commercial Value (ECV), Net Present Values (NPV), Summary Planned Cost, Summary Actual Cost, Headcount (actual), and Derived Risk is displayed in tabular format.

o        The box on the left enables selection of Free Characteristics and those for the rows and columns of the table.

o        Drill down into each characteristic provides granular information in the table.

o        Moving the mouse over the icons provides respective explanation. 

·         Graphical Representation

This graphically represents financial information such as ECV, NPV, Sum Planned costs, etc for items.

o        Choose from type of Charts or Swap Axes to view data as desired.

o        Export to Excel to view and analyze detailed data in a spreadsheet.

o        Save View to a file for later reference.

·         Information

Displays General information on this report including variable values, and filter values.

Advanced Analysis (continued)

·         Information Broadcasting

Use the BEx Broadcaster (Create New Setting) to distribute Web templates, queries and workbooks in either pre-calculated form or as an online link. You may distribute by sending e-mail or exporting into the Enterprise Portal.
