Features

This iView is the Object Links Manager. It is used to manage object links associated to a portfolio item. You can choose any object link type and add or remove object links of that type associated to the item.

You navigate to this iView, by choosing Portfolio Management. In the item dashboard, select any item to open the overview. Then choose the Link to External Objects action link.

Integration

The advanced search component of this component can be integrated with other iViews to search for object links for any portfolio item.

Prerequisites

You have defined the object link types in Customizing, by choosing SAP xApp Resource and Portfolio Management (SAP xRPM) → Base System Interfaces → Application Object Settings →

·        Define Object Link Types

·        Configure cProjects Object Link Type for Portfolio Processes

Example

When you choose the object link type R/3 Cost Center, all the object links of type R/3 Cost Center that are associated to the current portfolio item are listed in the Search Results table. Here, you can select the object links and add them to the Selected Objects table so that they will be linked to the current portfolio item.
