Function documentation Resource Pool Overview  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

In this Web application, you can view or edit the attributes of the resource pool.

Note

If the resource pool is already locked by some other user, then the current user will not be able to edit the resource pool.

       1.      You can changeinformation about the resource pool in the fields described below.

Name

Mandatory

Enter name of the pool. Can be alphanumeric characters.

ID

Display Only

The ID is an unique identifier and cannot be modified.

       2.      Resource Criteria

                            a.      You add or remove resources comprising the current pool. Select the category from the drop down list in the Add Resources By field.

                            b.      Click Show Filtered Resources to display a list of resources filtered as per the specified criterion.

                            c.      To remove a filter criterion or resource, select a filter criterion or resource and then choose Remove.

                            d.      Add the filter criterion as follows:

Category

Action to add a criterion

Location

In the Search Geography screen, select the appropriate geography.

Organizational Unit

In the Search Organizational Unit screen, select the appropriate organizational unit.

Teams

Select the team from the drop down list to include all users from the team.

Category > Sub Category

Select the subcategory from the drop down list to include all users matching the subcategory.

Role function

Select the role function from the drop down list to filter all users by the role function.

Portfolio > Bucket

       1.      In Select a Bucket, select the portfolio from the drop down list. 

       2.      From the portfolio structure, select the appropriate bucket.

Name (Add directly to Pool)

To manually add a resource, use the Search Resources to add the resource to the pool.

 

       3.      Resource Managers with Pool Access

You may add or remove a resource manager to the pool.

¡        Click Add Resource Manager and use Select Resources to select the resource manager and add to the list.

¡        Click the box to the left of the resource manager name and click Remove.

       4.      Your save your entries.
